Soda Steve's
On Sunday me, Cole, and Kai decided to have some fun at the lake. Cole and Kai looked up some restaurants for us to eat at and saw that Soda Steve's had good reviews and a yummy looking menu. So on the way to the lake we popped in to grab burgers. I was impressed with the drink area when we walked in because they had a selection of syrups to flavor soda, and they had Pepsi products. They also had a REALLY DELICIOUS mango green tea and lemonade, I had some of the green tea to-go. There are no servers at Soda Steve's, it's more fast food style. You place your order and wait for them to call your number.
I ordered a regular cheeseburger with onion rings and the men ordered mushroom and swiss burgers with fries. I was very happy with my burger, if the patty had been patted with love it would have been even better. Kai was NOT AT ALL impressed with his burger and said that it was soggy and the mushrooms had no flavor. We did not like the onion rings, the batter had no flavor and the onions were almost non-existent. The fries were seasoned well, but I'm not a fan of fat fries (I love a good shoestring fry). We also had fried pickles, and they were great. They were made with pickle chips and the batter was lightly flavored. We ate outside to get in the air and the view.
After we left Soda Steve's I had the misfortune of breaking my leg at the lake, but at least I had some of that yummy tea for the ride to the hospital.
Until your next bite!
